Glenn E. Burnham Sept. 5, 1913 - Feb. 2, 2006 HANCOCK -- Glenn Ervin Burnham, 92, of Hancock died Thursday at Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris. The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Hancock.

HANCOCK -- Glenn Ervin Burnham, 92, of Hancock died Thursday at Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Hancock. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris, with a prayer service at 3 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service at the church.

He was born Sept. 5, 1913, in Walden Township, Pope County, to Fred and Pearle (Varnum) Burnham. He grew up in Walden Township and attended country school. He graduated from the West Central School of Agriculture in Morris in 1930.

He married Bernice "Bonnie" Huntley on June 23, 1934, in rural Hancock. They farmed the Burnham family farm in Walden Township.

He is survived by his wife; children: Ronald (and Karen) Burnham of Starbuck, Lois (and Paul) Burnham-Sailer of Wadena, Allan (and Ilene) Burnham of Morris; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by one grandson.

Alver L. Prodoehl

Nov. 12, 1917 - Feb. 3, 2006

RENVILLE -- Alver Leonard Prodoehl, 88, of rural Renville died Friday at Renville County Hospital in Olivia.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Middle Creek United Methodist Church in rural Renville. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Olivia and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred to the Middle Creek Cemetery Association.

He was born Nov. 12, 1917, in rural Renville to Fred and Ida (Schroeder) Prodoehl.

He married Edith Simning on Dec. 3, 1943. He took over the family farm in 1941 and farmed until he retired in the early '90s.

He was active in his church, taught Sunday School and was the financial secretary for 18 years. He was the caretaker and secretary of the Middle Creek Cemetery Association since 1945, and was a member of the Redwood Falls Camp of the Gideons.

He is survived by his wife; children: Jerald (and Mary) Prodoehl of Eden Prairie, Roger Prodoehl of New Ulm, Sandra (and Charles) Fender of Rapid City, S.D.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter: Cleo Prodoehl; two sisters and one brother.
