WILLMAR --Gloria Anne Tepfer, 70, of Willmar, formerly of Danube, died Friday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.

The service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Danube. Burial will be in the St. Matthew's South Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Renville and will continue one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday.

She was born on Oct. 25, 1936 in Appleton to Edward and Florence (Allpress) Miller. She and her family moved to Danube and she graduated from Danube High School in 1954.

She married Wayne Tepfer on Jan. 9, 1955, in Danube. They farmed north of Danube most of their lives.

She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and its ladies aid and choir. She had been active in the Republican Party and Groundswell for many years. She was also a leader, organizer, and volunteer for many different civic organizations.

She is survived by her husband; her children: Corey (and Randy) Kuiken of Elko, Wendy (and Ron) Kluver of Danube, Dana (and Beth) of Willmar; her daughter-in-law Pamela Schmidt of Belgrade, 12 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Roger (and Joan) Miller of Colfax, N.D., Darlene (and Bob) Moen of Bemidji and Joyce Beck of Renville.

She was preceded in death by her sons Steve and Jim and a grandson.
