BENSON -- Goldie Marie Folz, 72, of Benson died Wednesday at Meadow Lane Golden Living Center in Benson.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Benson. Burial will be in the Yellow Bank Cemetery, rural Odessa.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the church and one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.

She was born Sept. 29, 1935, in Appleton to William C. and Dagmar (Christenson) Grube. She grew up in rural Appleton, attended country school, and graduated in 1953 from Appleton High School.
She married Delbert J. Folz on Oct. 22, 1955, in Morris. She worked at Benson Elementary as a foster grandparent. She also worked at DeToy's Café as a cook, at Viking Café as a cook and waitress, at Angier's Department Store, Snip and Stitch and the Benson Fabric Store.
She served as a den mother for the Scouts.
She is survived by her husband; her children: Delmon Folz of Seeley, Calif., Lawrence Folz of Spicer, and Melissa Folz; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Gloria Zempel of Albe, S.D., and Donna Schacherer of Dawson.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
