Katie Gorans and Shane Ross are engaged to be married Sept. 18 at Svea Lutheran Church in Svea.
Gorans is the daughter of Brian and Tracy Gorans of Svea.
She is a 2001 graduate of Willmar Senior High School and a 2005 graduate of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, with a degree in mathematics. She is a pharmacy student at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and expects to graduate in 2011.
Ross is the son of Mike and Julie Ross of Breckenridge.
He is a 1998 graduate of Breckenridge High School and a 2002 graduate of Minnesota State University-Moorhead with a degree in business administration. He is employed by Rasmussen College as a financial aid adviser.
