WILLMAR — The Willmar City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the county board chambers at the Kandiyohi County Health and Human Services Building.

The meeting will be held in person, though it is also available through electronic means if council members wish to attend remotely.

The council will hear a presentation from the Willmar Ten Investors group on the possibility of construction of a combined city hall and community center at Uptown Willmar in the JCPenney site at the mall. The council could decide to move forward with the project, continue to plan for a project at the current community center location or take no action.

Also on the agenda is an item to consider purchasing an outdoor community display sign for the Willmar Fire Station, along with approving change orders to the First Street overlay and Willmar Wye projects.

At the end of the meeting the council will meet in a closed session to discuss labor negotiation strategy.
