Governor appoints 2 Renville County residents to BWSR Board

SAINT PAUL - Gov. Mark Dayton has appointed two Renville County residents to the Board of Water and Soil Resources.
The governor’s office announced Friday the appointments of Kathryn Kelly, Olivia, and Douglas Erickson, Bird Island.
Kelly is a member of the board for the Renville County Soil and Water Conservation District. She succeeds Paul Langseth. Her term expires Jan. 1, 2018.
Erickson serves as Mayor of Bird Island and will serve as a non-metro, elected city official on the BWSR board. He succeeds Keith Mykleseth. His term expires Jan. 5, 2015.
