WILLMAR -- Grace Cole, 85, formerly of Willmar, died Oct. 31 in Pflugerville, Texas.
Arrangements were with Austin-Peel and Son Funeral Home in Austin, Texas. Burial was at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
Memorials are preferred to Hill Country Bible Church in Pflugerville or her son's church in Willmar.
She was born Feb. 19, 1921, in Carrington, N.D., and graduated from high school there. She graduated from St. John's School of Nursing in 1942 in Fargo, N.D., as a registered nurse.

She married Walter Cole on Aug. 10, 1951. She was a nurse at the VA Hospital in Fargo for 13 years and worked as nurse at the Willmar Nursing Home for three years. Walter died in 1983.
She is survived by her children: Trish (and Roger) Olmstead of Pflugerville, Texas, Paul (and Jana) Cole of Willmar; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; twin daughters; and one grandchild.
