Granite Falls woman injured in single-vehicle crash Thursday night south of Montevideo

According to a crash report, Lacey Kay Knutson, 34, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a crash Thursday and was transported to Avera Granite Falls Health Center.

MONTEVIDEO — A Granite Falls woman was injured Thursday night in one-vehicle crash in Yellow Medicine County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

According to the crash report, Lacey Kay Knutson, 34, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Avera Granite Falls Health Center.

She was traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 212 when her 2010 Ford Escape left the roadway near Milepost 42 in Stony Run Township and struck a tree. Road conditions were wet.

Knutson was wearing her seat belt, her airbag deployed and alcohol was not involved, according to the State Patrol.

The Granite Falls Police Department, Granite Falls Ambulance and Montevideo Police Department also responded to the incident reported at 11:11 p.m. Thursday south of Montevideo.
