SACRED HEART — The U.S. Department of Agriculture has awarded a $42,000 grant to the city of Sacred Heart to help with the costs of replacing the fire hall roof, U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith, D-Minn., announced on Thursday.

The roof has numerous leaks and is in need of repair, according to news release from the senators. The new roof will help keep equipment safe and allow workers to focus on fire emergency calls for the surrounding community in Renville County.
