Grove City, Minn., woman hurt in New Year’s Day crash

MORTON -- An 81-year-old Grove City woman was taken to a metro-area hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in a one-vehicle rollover crash this morning along U.S. Highway 71 near Morton.

MORTON - An 81-year-old Grove City woman was taken to a metro-area hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in a one-vehicle rollover crash this morning along U.S. Highway 71 near Morton.

According to the State Patrol, Evelyn M. Chellin was driving a 2001 Oldsmobile Bravada northbound, drifted off the roadway and lost control, causing the vehicle to roll over. Chellin was wearing her seat belt. The crash was reported around 10:30 a.m.

The State Patrol did not specify which hospital Chellin was taken to for treatment. Also responding were the Morton Police Department, Renville County Sheriff’s Office and North Ambulance and North Air.
