BELVIEW – A Grove City woman, who is six months pregnant, escaped injury Tuesday night when her vehicle hit ice and rolled on state Highway 19 in Redwood Township.
According to the State Patrol, a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Amanda Marie Malmquist, 32, of Grove City, was going east on Highway 19 at around 9 p.m. when the vehicle hit a patch of ice and went sideways into the ditch and rolled.
Malmquist was taken to Redwood Area Hospital in Redwood Falls because of her pregnancy, but no injuries were reported, according to the State Patrol.
The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Belview Fire/Medical and North Memorial Ambulance assisted at the scene.
