Engagement and wedding stories and photos may be submitted via e-mail, via U.S. mail or in person. Please include in all announcements the name and phone number of a person who can be contacted if there are questions about the submission.
Information and photos can be e-mailed to weddings@wctrib.com . Items should be mailed to West Central Tribune, P.O. Box 839, Willmar, MN 56201, or they may be brought to our office at 2208 Trott Ave. S.W., Willmar.
Forms are available for both engagement and wedding stories, which are published according to Tribune guidelines. Parties may contact advertising if a specifically worded announcement is desired.
Engagement and wedding stories are published Saturdays. The deadline is noon Monday for consideration that week. However, we cannot guarantee publication the following Saturday.
Engagements will be published free of charge.
ADVERTISEMENT
Wedding stories will be published free of charge provided they are received by our office no later than three months after the wedding date. Wedding announcements submitted after the three-month deadline will be handled by display advertising at advertising rates. Please attach the wedding bulletin.
Photos will be published if quality is satisfactory for reproduction. Soft focus or unusual poses will not be used.
Professional photos are not required, and color or black and white photos are acceptable.
Photos will be returned if a self-addressed, stamped envelope is provided, or they may be picked up after publication.
