WILLMAR — Hans Hibma is running for the open Ward 4 seat on the Willmar City Council.
The seat is currently held by Shawn Mueske, who is not running for reelection.
Hibma works for Habitat for Humanity of West Central Minnesota as the Restore manager. He grew up on a farm in the Hutchinson area and has lived in Willmar for 10 years.
Ward 4 covers the majority of the southeastern quarter of Willmar.
