April 5, 1922 - Feb. 3, 2007 RAYMOND -- Harland A. Hauser, 84, of Raymond died Saturday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Raymond. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

RAYMOND -- Harland A. Hauser, 84, of Raymond died Saturday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Raymond. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the church and for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar.

He was born April 5, 1922, in St. John's Township, Kandiyohi County, to Robert and Emma (Meyer) Hauser. He grew up on the farm, attended country school and graduated from Willmar High School.

He married Julia DeCaigny on Sept. 4, 1943, in Raymond. They lived and farmed the Hauser homestead. He retired from farming in 1977 and they moved into Raymond.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the Willmar Credit Union and was a FHA Board member. He was a volunteer driver for Heartland Community Action.

He is survived by his children: Pamela Bruning of Seattle, Wash., Harland Jr. (and Sam) Hauser of Monte Vista, Colo., Roger (and Sandi) Hauser of Spicer, Neil (and Linda) Hauser of Sartell, Michael (and Karen) Hauser of Raymond, Joy (and fiancé, Greg Thissen) of Clara City, Joel (and JoLynda) Hauser of Raymond; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one brother: Harold Hauser of Willmar.

He was preceded in death by his wife; infant son: Martin; one grandson; one brother and an infant sister.
