BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Harold C. "Maggie" Magnuson Sr., 84, of Bellevue, Wash., died Tuesday at his home.
A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. March 17 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash.
Arrangements are with Bleitz Funeral Home in Seattle. Memorials are preferred to Ex POW National Headquarters, 3201 E. Pioneer Pkwy, #40 Arlington, TX 76010
He was born May 26, 1921, in Willmar to Nels and Clara (Peterson) Magnuson. He grew up in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School in 1941.

He married Mary Lou Hackett in 1942 in Willmar. They moved to Oregon in 1956.
He is survived by his children: Harold Magnuson Jr. of Hillsboro, Ore., Lisa Pillie of Lake Sammamish, Wash.; three grandchildren and one brother, Burton.
He was preceded in death by four siblings.
