STARBUCK -- Harold Douglas Nicholson, 69, of Shoreview died Thursday at his home.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Indherred Lutheran Church of Starbuck. Burial will be at 9:45 a.m. in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Hoplin Funeral Home of Brooten is in charge of arrangements.
He was born July 29, 1936, in Willmar to Harold and Alys (Anderson) Nicholson. He grew up in Appleton and graduated from Appleton High School. He attended St. Olaf College and graduated from Augsburg College. He entered the service in 1960 and was a member of the Army Security Agency until 1962. He was employed by State of Minnesota Department of Public Service.

On June 15, 1968, he married June Rosten. They made their home in Shoreview. He was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church and the Boy Scouts of America, where he earned the Eagle Award.
He is survived by his wife; his mother of Morris; and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father.
