LAKE LILLIAN -- Harold Olson, 85, of Fergus Falls, formerly of Lake Lillian, died Friday at the Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church in Lake Lillian. Burial will be in Community Cemetery of Lake Lillian.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls, from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the K-M Funeral Home in Lake Lillian and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
He was born Sept. 30, 1920, in Lake Lillian to Clarence and Maud (Garberich) Olson. He spent most of his life in and around Lake Lillian.

He married Alice Mae Gilberts on Nov. 10, 1945. He owned and operated a gas station/tire business in Lake Lillian. He farmed northeast of Lake Lillian for many years and raised animals, including exotic animals such as llamas and fainting goats. They moved to Hutchinson in 2004, and he moved to the Pioneer Cottages in Fergus Falls in 2005.
He is survived by his wife of Hutchinson; two daughters: Barbara (and Jerry) Quast of Silver Lake and Mavis (and Oscar) Garza of Carrolton, Texas; two sons: Harry (and Mary Lou) Olson of Fergus Falls, and Dean Olson (and fiancée Kristin Kloos) of Rochester; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother: Roger Olson of Litchfield; and one sister: Alyce Kotila of Kimball.
