GRANITE FALLS -- Harriet Mildred Knutson, 94, formerly of Granite Falls, died Friday at Emerald Crest Care Center in Minnetonka.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Granite Falls Lutheran Church in Granite Falls. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Wing-Bain Funeral Home of Granite Falls is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Jan. 30, 1912 to Albert and Lena (Seim) Hanson in Chippewa County. She attended country school in Chippewa County and graduated from Granite Falls High School in 1930.

She married Robert J. Knutson on March 16, 1940 in Granite Falls. She sang in choir at the Granite Falls Lutheran Church; served in Ladies Aide, was a Sunday school teacher, sewed numerous quilts for Lutheran World Relief and was a member of the Library Guild. She served her community through the League of Women Voters, the PTA and as a Camp Fire leader for many years.
She is survived by daughters: Kathryn Stephens of Redmond, WA. and Dorothy Ellerbroek of Minneapolis; Three granddaughters and fpir great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, in 1985; three sisters and two brothers.
