GRANITE FALLS -- Harriet Lorraine Skulstad, 83, of Granite Falls died Tuesday at the Granite Falls Hospital.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bergen Lutheran Church in Stony Run Township. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lynner Funeral Home in Clarkfield, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
She was born Oct. 9, 1922, in Clarkfield to Arnold and Edna (Berg) Nelson. She attended school in both Clarkfield and Granite Falls and graduated from Clarkfield High School in 1940.

She married Carl Skulstad on Feb. 6, 1942, in Clarkfield. They farmed in Stony Run Township.
She was active in ALCW, homemaker's, choir, and was a 4-H adviser.
She is survived by her children: James (and Roxanne) Skulstad of Lincoln, Neb., Howard (and Kristin) Skulstad of St. Francis, Curtis (and Cindy) Skulstad of Granite Falls, Carol Skulstad of Minneapolis, Susan (and Steve) Engel of Bemidji; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
