PRINSBURG -- Harry Calvin Post, 79, of Willmar, formerly of Prinsburg, died Saturday at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Reformed Church in Prinsburg. Burial will be at Holland Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church and for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home in Prinsburg.
He was born April 12, 1926, on the family farm north of Prinsburg to Harry Sr. and Martha (Kramer) Post. He grew up in the Prinsburg area and attended Central Minnesota Christian School in Prinsburg. He worked the family farm all his life, first with his father, then with his brother, and with his son since 1978.

He married Helen DeVries on May 28, 1948, in Roseland. They lived on his family farm until 1998, when they moved to Willmar. He retired from farming in fall 2005. He also worked as a truck driver for Duininck Brothers from 1986 until 1989.
He was a member of First Christian Reformed Church, where he served on the church council and as an usher for many years. He was also active in the Willmar Senior Citizens, was a volunteer at Rice Memorial Hospital and had been a volunteer with Rice Hospice.
He is survived by his wife; children: Harvey Post of Prinsburg, Doug (and Denise) Post of Mahtomedi, Sharon (and David) Botker of Clinton, Betty (and Tom) Holt of Willmar; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one sister: Dorothy Apol of Raymond.
He was preceded in death by one daughter: Peggy in 1973; three brothers and one sister.
