IDAHO -- Harvey Gordon Bromen, 56, of Idaho, formerly Brooten, died May 3 at the Portneuf Medical Center in Idaho.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Chapel in Brooten. Burial will be at the St. Donatus Catholic Cemetery in Brooten.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
He was born Jan. 14, 1952, in Glenwood to Louis and Helen (Reznecheck) Bromen. He grew up on a farm near Brooten where he attended school. He graduated from the Brooten High School.
He worked in Brooten and Newport. Then he moved to Idaho and worked for 19 as an over-the-road trucker.

He is survived by his siblings: Alice Stern of St. Cloud, Dennis Bromen of Menahga, Ernest (and Hella) Bromen of Sennfeld, Germany, Everett (and Traudle) Bromen of Radcliff, Ky., Joyce (and Gil) Odegaard of Evensville, Phillip (and JoAnn) Bromen of Newport, and Kenneth (and JoAnne) Bromen of Bay City, Wis.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters, including one in infancy.
