OLIVIA -- Harvey Retzlaff, 84, of Olivia died Monday at the Golden Living Center in Olivia.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Olivia. Burial will be at the Olivia Cemetery.
Visitation will be for three hours prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Dirks-Blem Funeral Service in Olivia.
He was born Jan. 15, 1922, in Olivia to Emil and Minnie (Wojohn) Retzlaff. He attended school in Olivia and then worked on a local farm. He worked for Land O'Lakes and then for Renco Gas Company. He was a custodian at the Olivia Public School for many years.

He married Shirley Kunde on on April 2, 1958, in Olivia. They lived in Olivia and he moved to the Golden Living Center in the last year.
He is survived by his wife; daughter: Nadine Johnson of Hector; two grandchildren; and one brother: Floyd (and Marion) Retzlaff of Litchfield.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters, one in infancy.
