ATWATER -- Harvey William Haag, 75, of Atwater died Thursday at the St. Cloud Hospital.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church in Atwater. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Atwater Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church.

He was born Sept. 23, 1932, in Eden Valley to Charles and Emma (Gutte) Haag. He grew up and received his education in the Eden Valley community. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict earning the rank of sergeant.

He married Mary Krotz. They lived in Eden Valley. He farmed and worked for a mink ranch near Eden Valley. He also worked for Franklin Manufacturing in St. Cloud.

He married Marlys Hanthorn on March 19, 1983. They lived in Atwater. For the last 30 years, he worked for the Jennie-O Galaxy turkey farm near Atwater.

He is survived by his wife; two sons: Scott (and Cathy) Haag of Delano and Patrick Haag of Spring Valley; a daughter: Kathy Haag of Kanab, Utah; and two stepsons: Wade (and Shelly) Overlie and Paul Overlie, both of Lowman, Idaho; 10 stepgrandchildren; a stepgreat-grandchild; a brother: Herbert Haag; and a sister: Leona (and Eldon) Grosse.

He was preceded in death by his son: Bradley Haag; a stepson: Robin Overlie; a grandson; and a sister.
