Two Willmar High School athletes were named Central Lakes Conference Top Performers by the league secretary's office:
Boys cross Country: Junior Mahad Hassan broke the 5K record at the Meet of Champions in Sioux Falls, S.D., in a winning time of 16:49.
Girls swimming: Sophomore Alissa Tinklenberg posted two individual firsts and swam on two winning relays at the St. Cloud Apollo dual meet, then lowered her own school record to 1:02.24 in the 100 backstroke at College of St. Benedict's meet (1:02.24).
