Hector child, woman airlifted for injuries from accident

LAKE LILLIAN -- A 4-year-old girl and 24-year-old woman were airlifted for injuries suffered in a one-vehicle rollover accident Monday morning east of Lake Lillian.

LAKE LILLIAN - A 4-year-old girl and 24-year-old woman were airlifted for injuries suffered in a one-vehicle rollover accident Monday morning east of Lake Lillian.
The accident occurred just before 10 a.m. Monday along Minnesota Highway 7 near Kandiyohi County Road 74.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that Juan J. Gomez, 19, of Hector, was driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer westbound on the highway when he moved toward the shoulder of the highway to allow a semitrailer to pass.
He apparently lost control of the vehicle on the gravel, and the vehicle rolled.
Two of his passengers were airlifted to the hospital for what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Juana Gomez, 4, of Hector, was transported to Minneapolis Children’s Hospital.
Dominga Gomez, 24, of Hector, was transported to St. Cloud Hospital.
Neither Juan Gomez nor another passenger, Manuel O. Cortez, 20, of Hector, suffered any injuries, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
