HECTOR - A 51-year-old rural Hector man was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale Tuesday evening for treatment of injuries sustained in an ATV rollover.
According to the Renville County Sheriff’s Office, Paul E. Johnson was driving a 1992 Honda four-wheeler about five miles southwest of Hector and lost control of the ATV, causing it to roll over multiple times. Johnson was able to drive the ATV a short distance to his residence, where he called 911 for help just after 6 p.m.
Johnson was taken by Hector Ambulance to Renville County Hospital, where he was in serious condition. He was not wearing a helmet and was alone on the ATV.
The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office. Also responding was the Hector Police Department.
