STEWART -- A 55-year-old Hector woman was transported to Glencoe Hospital Tuesday after sustaining injuries in a U.S. Highway 212 car accident west of Stewart.
Linda R. Johnson sustained minor injuries while driving her 1992 Chevy Lumina around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Highway 212 and County Road 20.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol Web site, a description of the accident was not recorded.
Rodney W. Schaufler, 16, of Buffalo Lake was cited as the driver of a 1995 Ford Pickup involved in the situation. He sustained no injuries.
The accident was classified by the State Patrol as a rear-end collision and cited both vehicles as traveling east on Highway 212 at the time of the accident. Both vehicles were reportedly totaled during the incident.

The Renville County Sheriff's Office assisted the State Patrol at the scene of the accident.
