LAKE CRYSTAL -- Helen Ann Kroubetz, 80, of Lake Crystal, formerly of Bird Island, died Saturday at the Lake Crystal Health Care Center.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lake Crystal. Burial will be at Holy Family Cemetery in Lake Crystal.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Lake Crystal Mortuary.
She was born April 5, 1926, in Hallock to George and Mary (Haubrick) Bublitz. She graduated from Bird Island High School in 1944. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Department of Navy in Washington, D.C.

She married Harold Kroubetz on Nov. 11, 1947, in Bird Island. She worked as a bookkeeper for Fisher Clothing in Mankato and Kroubetz Auto Body in Lake Crystal.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Lake Crystal, Catholic Order of Daughters, Lake Crystal Chamber of Commerce, VFW 950 Auxiliary, and Lake Crystal American Legion 294 Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband; son: Paul (and Kimberly) Kroubetz of Lake Crystal; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister: Marie Karnik of Bird Island.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
