HECTOR -- Helen Cecilia Doney, 87, of Hector died Wednesday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hector. Burial will be at the Hector City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hughes Funeral Home in Hector and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
She was born Jan. 24, 1920, in East Lake Lillian Township, Kandiyohi County, to Renold and Nancy (Nelson) Alseth. She grew up in the Cosmos area and attended rural school.

She married Otto Hagemeister on April 10, 1946, in Atwater. They lived in Hector. Otto died in 1972.
She married Perry Doney on Dec. 6, 1975. They lived in Hector. Perry died in 1989.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hector, where she was active with the Esther and Lydia Circle. She was also a member of the Hector Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children: Susan (and Donavon) VanderVoort of Hector, Carol Hagemeister of Willmar, Sandra Hagemeister of Norwood Young America; stepchildren: Eloise (and Carter) Stroud of California, Carolyn (and Roger) Dullum of Cambridge; four grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Lester (and Alice) Alseth of Atwater, and Wilton (and Doris) Alseth of Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husbands.
