CLARKFIELD -- Helen Clarice Shaw, 88, of Montevideo, formerly of Clarkfield, died Tuesday at Luther Haven in Montevideo.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Hope Reformed Church in Montevideo. Burial will be at the Clarkfield City Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Lynner Funeral Home in Clarkfield.

She was born July 30, 1918, in Fairmont to George and Clara (Martens) Gerhardt. She attended country school near Welcome and graduated from the eighth grade.
She married Everett Shaw on Dec. 25, 1939, in Iowa. They farmed in the Fairmont-Welcome area until 1954, when they moved to Barrett and bought a farm. They owned and operated a motel in Appleton from 1963 to 1973. They owned and operated a liquor store in Cobden for 10 years. They retired and lived south of Perham for 10 years. They moved to Clarkfield in 1993. She moved in 2002 to Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo.
She is survived by her children: Marilyn Graff (and Les Sommers) of Eagan, Diane (and Roy) Lancaster of Sturgeon Lake, Bonnie (and Gene) Muenchow of Sturgeon Lake, Wanda (and Kenneth) Benson of Hancock, Wendell (and Rhanda) Shaw of Frazee, Connie (and Emanuel) Martinez of Olivia; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and four brothers: Paul (and Gloria) Gerhardt, Alvert (and Gladys) Gerhardt, Robert (and Doris) Gerhardt and Donald (and Gladys) Gerhardt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons-in-law, one brother and two sisters.
