RENVILLE -- Henrietta Bena Kohls, 86, of Renville died Monday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Renville. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Renville.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Arrangements are with Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Renville.
She was born Aug. 11, 1919, in Danube to Emil and Weike (Ruter) Strey. She grew up in Danube and attended school there. The family moved to Renville.

She married Fred Kohls in December 1955 in Renville. The lived in Renville and she worked as a cook at Alice's Café for many years.
She is survived by her daughters: Charlotte (and Dick) Warner of Eagan, Charlene (and Gerald) Frank of Danube; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and siblings: Elsie Kirschbaum of Olivia, Fannie Rogers of Renville, John Strey of Princeton, Henry Strey of Port Orchard, Wash., and Walter Strey of Balsam Lake, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers and two sisters.
