NEW LONDON -- Henry Richard Odland, 81, of New London died Monday at the St. Cloud Hospital.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Crow River Lutheran Church in rural Belgrade. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home in New London and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
He was born Jan. 25, 1925, in Belgrade to Adolph and Millie (Anderson) Odland. He grew up on the family farm near Belgrade, attended a rural country school and Belgrade High School. He farmed the family farm until 1970, when he moved to New London. He worked for the New London Senior Citizens Center and has been tuning pianos and organs in the area for over 50 years. He moved to Spicer in 2002.

He was a member of Crow River Lutheran Church where he taught Sunday school, played the organ for many years and also served as sexton to the cemetery for over 40 years.
He is survived by his siblings: LuElla Gunderson of New London, Kenneth (and Marlys) Odland of Willmar, Leonard (and June) Odland of Spicer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one nephew.
