A 20-year-old Texas man was arrested after fleeing from a Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Deputy around
3 a.m. Sunday.
The pursuit started on Highway 71 in northern Kandiyohi County, reached speeds up to 120 miles per hour and ended in Brooten, according to a release from Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office.
It was reported that the deputy attempted to stop the driver for speeding when the driver fled in his vehicle.
The driver eventually stopped his vehicle and was arrested without incident.
According to the press release, the driver is being held in the Kandiyohi County Jail with charges of driving while intoxicated, fleeing a peace officer in motor vehicle, no Minnesota driver’s license and speeding.
