KERKHOVEN -  An open house to learn about plans to resurface U.S. Highway 12 from Benson through Kerkhoven has been rescheduled to Jan. 12.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation announced today in a news release that the open house originally scheduled for tonight has been postponed due to weather.
MnDOT plans to resurface Highway 12 from Benson through Kerkhoven in 2016. The project will also include sidewalk work in Kerkhoven, Murdock and DeGraff.
The open house is now scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, at the Kerkhoven Civic Center, 208 10th St. N., Kerkhoven.
MnDOT representatives will be available to answer questions from residents, businesses owners and other interested individuals.
