Highway 15 accident results in injuries

KINGSTON -- A three vehicle collision at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday on Minnesota Highway 15 at Kingston in Meeker County has critically injured a 16-year-old girl from Dassel.

KINGSTON -- A three vehicle collision at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday on Minnesota Highway 15 at Kingston in Meeker County has critically injured a 16-year-old girl from Dassel.

Jasamyne F. Braatz of Dassel was listed in critical condition after her 1996 Chevrolet Corsica was involved in a crash with a 1996 Peterbuilt tractor-trailer and a road grader, model unknown, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Also injured in the collision were Aaron Rodenbeck, 29, of Sullivan, the driver of the tractor-trailer, and William Laplante, 37, of Litchfield, the driver of the road grader. Rodenbeck's injured was not considered life-threatening. Laplante's injuries were not known.

The Patrol reported that Braatz was westbound on Meeker County Road 27 when her Corsica and the northbound semi-trailer driven by Rodenback collided. The semi then struck the road grader, which was southbound on County Road 15 waiting to make a left turn to go east on County Road 27.

The Meeker County Sheriff's Department assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene.
