Highway 23 open house set for July 28

HAWICK -- Area residents, business owners and others are invited to attend an open house on the Minnesota Highway 23 expansion 4 to 6 p.m. July 28 at Roseville Township Hall, which is located at 15768 232nd Ave. Northeast in Hawick.

HAWICK - Area residents, business owners and others are invited to attend an open house on the Minnesota Highway 23 expansion 4 to 6 p.m. July 28 at Roseville Township Hall, which is located at 15768 232nd Ave. Northeast in Hawick.
The project calls for four lanes from New London to Paynesville.
Attendees will learn about environmental review findings, view the preferred alignment alternative and ask questions directly of Minnesota Department of Transportation project staff.
There will be no formal presentation.
Currently, all but 15 miles of the 53-mile stretch of Minnesota Highway 23 between Willmar and Interstate 94 have been constructed as a four-lane roadway.
One of the gaps that is still only two lanes is located between New London and Paynesville.
No funding for construction is available at this time.
