Highway 59 resurfacing project to begin Monday near Clarkfield

CLARKFIELD - Motorists traveling on U.S. Highway 59 between Yellow Medicine County Road 3 to just north of Clarkfield may encounter delays beginning Monday as crews resurface the road.
In addition to resurfacing, American Disability Act improvements will be made in the city of Clarkfield.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation said in a news release that motorists will be directed through the work zone by a flagger and pilot cars.
Duininck Inc. of Prinsburg is the prime contractor for the $2.2 million project. Work is scheduled for completion by late October, weather permitting.
