WILLMAR -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Minnesota State Patrol have opened the following highways in Redwood and Renville counties in southwestern Minnesota:

  • Highway 19 from Fairfax to Marshall
  • Highway 71 from Redwood Falls to Highway 14
  • Highway 67 from Redwood Falls to Morgan
  • Highway 68 from Morgan to Wabasso

MnDOT had pulled the snowplows Saturday and closed several highways in southwestern Minnesota due to poor visibility, blowing and drifting snow.
MnDOT reminds motorists that highways are in difficult driving condition in the Redwood Falls areas with scattered slippery spots and some blowing and drifting snow.
