RAYMOND -- Jeremy Hinderks pitched a three hit shutout to lift Sacred Heart to a 2-0 win over Raymond in the Cornbelt South loser's bracket final and give the Saints a berth in the Region 9C amateur baseball tournament.
Hinderks, who pitched Sacred Heart past Willmar last Sunday, struck out 10 batters and walked two in a pitching duel with Raymond's Tyler Knott.
Knott struck out 15 while allowing only one hit in eight innings.
The two pitchers didn't give up a run until the eighth, when Sacred Heart loaded the bases with two outs and Josh Hebrink scored on a wild pitch.
The Saints, who will play Milroy for the Cornbelt South title and seeding for the region tournament at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Milroy, added a second run as Andy Erickson hit an infield single and came around to score on a passed ball.

The teams had a couple of chances to score earlier in the game. Sacred Heart had runners at first and second in the fourth, but Knott got out of the jam with a strikeout.
In the bottom of the inning, Hinderks issued both of his walks with two outs, but got Raymond (19-9) to pop out for the third out.
Jeff Hinderks had the other hit for the Saints.
Zach Nelson singled and Brandon Larson doubled for the Rockets' two hits. Knott went eight innings and Tom DeBoer pitched the ninth.
