Lisa Holmquist of Grove City and Joshua Arndt of Cosmos are engaged to be married Sept. 26 at Crystal Hills Assembly of God Church in rural Paynesville.
Holmquist is the daughter of Charlie and Lanette Holmquist of Grove City.
She is a 2003 graduate of Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City High School in Grove City and a 2008 graduate of St. Cloud State University with a bachelor's degree in social work. She is pursuing her master's degree in social work from St. Cloud State and expects to graduate in May 2010.
Arndt is the son of Gayle Danielson of Danube and David Straumann of Center Point, Texas.
He is a 2003 graduate of ACGC High School and a 2005 graduate of Ridgewater College with an associate degree. He is employed by Bridgestone Golf as a sales representative.
