Ashley Houdek and Jason Nelson II, both of Eden Prairie, are engaged to be married Oct. 2 at Green Lake Bible Camp in Spicer.
Houdek is the daughter of Michael and Rhonda Houdek of Renville.
She is a 2005 graduate of Renville County West High School in Renville and a 2009 graduate of Minnesota State University-Mankato with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is employed by Presbyterian Homes and Services in Brooklyn Park as a registered nurse.
Nelson is the son of Kathleen Nelson of Willmar and the late Jason Nelson.
He is a 2004 graduate of Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City High School in Grove City and a 2008 graduate of Minnesota State University-Mankato with a bachelor's degree in economics and finance. He is employed by Marquette Asset Management in Minneapolis as a financial analyst.
