The House 18B seat is a race between Republican incumbent Dean Urdahl and Democratic challenger Darrin Anderson.
Anderson lives in Litchfield and teaches in the Prairie Lakes Detention Center in Willmar. His priorities include education, business growth and fair tax structure. He has run a strong campaign.
Urdahl is from Grove City and a retired teacher. He is seeking his re-election to a fifth term. He serves his district well, especially in the education and agriculture sectors. He has been co-chair of a legislative bipartisan redesign caucus. He and Sen. Dille were instrumental in establishing Greenleaf Recreational Area.
