The House 20B race is between Democrat incumbent Lyle Koenen and Republican challenger Brian Kohout.
Koenen is seeking his fifth term. He has been a dairy farmer and is now a contract milk and school bus driver. His priority has been the rural needs of his district. He worked for disaster aid for Buffalo Lake and Granite Falls. He is an advocated for a veterans' nursing home in Montevideo.
Kohout is a native of Olivia. He is working towards political science degree at a private college. He considers himself a social and fiscal conservative. While he is only 21, he has recently served as vice chair of the district's Republican Party.
We endorse Koenen for re-election in House 20B.
