Huisman, Buboltz spark ACGC

GRANITE FALLS -- Kurtis Huisman had three touchdown runs and Deron Buboltz accounted for three more scores as unbeaten Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City upended Yellow Medicine East 41-7 Friday in the West Central South Conference.

The Falcons (4-0, 5-0) now host a key conference game next Friday against unbeaten BOLD (4-0, 5-0).

Huisman rumbled 26 yards to paydirt in the first quarter before the Falcons exploded in the second quarter. Buboltz scored on a 10-yard run, returned an interception 18 yards for another score and was on the receiving end of a 35-yard scoring strike from Jordan Tanner to give ACGC a 34-0 lead at halftime.

Tyler Sand scored on a one-yard run in the fourth quarter for YME's lone score.
