Huong 'Rose' Truong

WILLMAR -- Huong "Rose" Truong, 66, of Willmar died Wednesday at the Golden Living Center in Moorhead.
The service will be at 3 p.m. Dec. 15 at Willmar United Methodist Church.
Arrangements are with Korsmo Funeral Service in Moorhead.

She was born May 10, 1940, in Saigon, Vietnam, where she grew up and graduated from school.
She married Sang Truong in Saigon where they made their home. Sang was killed in the Vietnam War. She moved to Willmar in 1975. She worked at the Holiday Inn and was a cook at a restaurant in Willmar. She worked at Jennie-O until she retired due to illness. She had moved to Moorhead recently.
She was a member of the Willmar United Methodist Church and volunteered at her church.
She is survived by her son: Phu Truong of Moorhead; daughter: My Hanh Truong (and Shane Wenzel) of Moorhead; and two grandchildren.
