WILLMAR - Logan Michael Bellon, 30, of Hutchinson, pleaded guilty Monday to a second-degree drug sale charge for selling psilocybin mushroom and methamphetamine to CEE-VI Drug Task Force informants on two occasions in 2012.
As part of a plea agreement in Kandiyohi County District Court, a first-degree drug sale charge will be dismissed and he will be sentenced to 88 months in prison. Sentencing was set for Thursday before District Judge Michael J. Thompson.
The charges were filed in July 2013, and included information that an informant purchased 22.3 grams of mushrooms from Bellon on Nov. 19, 2012, in Spicer. The informant turned the mushrooms over to an agent, who had provided surveillance for the transaction and identified Bellon by his Department of Vehicle Services photo.
The meth purchase was Dec. 7, 2012, in a parking lot in Spicer. During that transaction, an informant and a task force agent met Bellon and received 14.2 grams of meth in exchange for $1,300.
Bellon has a 2007 conviction for second-degree drug sale.
