REDWOOD FALLS -- Ila Mae Routhe, 88, of Redwood Falls died July 31 at Wood Dale Nursing Home in Redwood Falls.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bethany Lutheran Church near Gilfillan. Burial will be in Crestlawn Gardens, rural Redwood Falls.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are by Nelson-Martin Funeral Service of Redwood Falls.

She was born Nov. 23, 1919, in Prophetstown, Ill., to Frank and Edna (Kline) McNamara. The family moved to the Redwood Falls area when she was an infant. She graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 1938.
She married Knute A. Routhe on April 10, 1941, and the couple settled on a farm in rural Redwood Falls. She was a farm wife and homemaker. She moved into Redwood Falls in 1985.
She is survived by her children: Katherine Wohlman of Kimball, Richard (and Milady) Routhe of Farmington, and Kristin (and Gary) Guggisberg of Morton; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and sisters: Alice Green of Morgan and Edna Loose of Los Angeles.
She was preceded in death by her husband on May 12, 1983; three sisters; and two brothers.
