A German, a Frenchman and an Irishman walked into a bar. Each ordered a shot of whiskey. The Frenchman picked up his glass, looked into it, and saw a fly. He cursed and threw the glass. The German picked up his glass and also saw a fly, but he picked it out and drank the whiskey. The Irishman looked in his glass, saw a fly, picked it up, turned it upside down, and shook it as he yelled, "Spit it out!"
Without criticism, this little story can be told just as you can tell one of the hundreds of Ole and Lena jokes. But change one of the nationalities to that of a Third World country and it would create an uproar. Yet, these same people come to our country and make demands that never cease. We are asked to learn their language, dumb down our educational system, and care for their physical, medical and even spiritual needs.
Brazilians that have come here send $2 billion a year back to Brazil and the second largest source of revenue for Mexico is money from the United States, sent by immigrants to the families there. Just what are we getting out of our largess? Very little is put back into our own economy. They are keeping wages low and coupled with outsourcing, American labor is hurting.
Shouldn't an immigrant appreciate the opportunities here when most have come from nothing? First, you must learn our language. English is an international language spoken by the captains of all NATO navies, by SEATO, by every country's air traffic controllers and pilots, plus in international banking. Next, quit your crabbing, get a job, keep your kids in school, observe the laws of our country and stay out of trouble. Meeting these requirements will make you a valuable addition to your community. We have enough problems with our own people without them being compounded by new arrivals.
America is fast becoming another Third World country and all because of the people we have elected. Wake up America!
