SACRED HEART -- Inez I. "Inie" Johnson, 69, of Sacred Heart died Friday in Mesa, Ariz.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the church and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Arrangements are with Dirks-Blem Funeral Service in Sacred Heart.
She was born May 22, 1936, in Echo to Paul George and Ida Martha (Schnackenberg) Meier.

She married David Johnson on Dec. 8, 1956, in Echo. She worked as a bookkeeper and later as the manager at Farmer's Co-op Elevator in Sacred Heart. She was a bookkeeper with Co-op Country Elevators and retired in 2000.
She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart and served on the church council, was a Cub Scout den leader, a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, and the Homemakers Club.
She is survived by her husband; children: Randy (and Kelly Jo) of Sacred Heart, Kelly Ann (and Jou) Vega of Apple Valley, Julie (and Tom) Swenson of Edina; four grandchildren; and her siblings: Berniece Anderson of Belview, Vernus Meier of Illinois, Loida Campbell of Idaho, and Glennis (and Darlene) Meier of the Brainerd Lakes area.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
