Injuries reported as result of school bus collision near Granite Falls

GRANITE FALLS - A collision between a school bus and another vehicle was reported around 7 a.m. this morning along Highway 212 east of Granite Falls at the lookout.

GRANITE FALLS – A collision between a school bus and another vehicle was reported around 7 a.m. this morning along Highway 212 east of Granite Falls at the lookout.

Children from the Tri-Valley Opportunity School were on board the bus at the time of the accident. None of the children were seriously injured, according to a Chippewa County sheriff’s deputy present at the accident scene.

Preliminary information indicates that at least one person was airlifted for injuries sustained in the accident.

More information will be released as it becomes available.
